I tried different color levels and stopped at those that are shown in #try 5 screenshot. If I lower contrast even more, some light grey areas transform into white spots and break images. But! It's not the end :). Initially there was a plan to remake the look of *whole* mixer strip, not only indicators and controls. So if there will be a chrome-looking backgroung, buttons, etc.. than those controls will look rather consistent. What about brushed alluminium - it's pretty, but, for my subjective point of view, also it's too sharp (but may be it will be the best as backgroung entire mixer strip? ;) ). After last 12 hours of thinking about it, I concluded, that crome look is more pleasant to me :). Anyway, if the current look is more confortable to work with, I can stop at this point. It was a nice experience to draw and automate these graphical elements and I can say, that it was really interesting to me, but it certainly does not mean, that those changes should be merged to main branch :). -- Regards, Andrew > > Regards, > Robert > > I find that I don't use numbers > > > on the sliders; I just adjust with the sound and meters. Some day I hope to hear the whole song of > > Guitar LV2 demo song.. ..thinking that I should practice in singing - it was the main reason of vocal absense in that demo :). May be it'll took 2 or 3 months, can't predict now. The last song I recorded was made nearly 12 years ago and now I realized that I can't take anything higher than F4 :-D. > > > > Bob > > > > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > ---- Dive into the World of Parallel Programming The Go Parallel Website, > > sponsored > > by Intel and developed in partnership with Slashdot Media, is your hub for > > all > > things parallel software development, from weekly thought leadership blogs > > to > > news, videos, case studies, tutorials and more.
