Just an update:
I'm working on this request. For two weeks now.

Stay tuned because as usual, this simple request revealed some problems 
 in MusE which upon investigation demanded a solution to a long-standing 
 issue, which I will try to solve once and for all. 

If my idea works, it will be worth the wait.
