Discussions:

- Discussed virtues of application control/recommendations of buffer
alignment. Design currently envisions this to be an implementation
responsibility. Can add application advisory buf_align parameter to the
odp_buffer_param_t structure for input to odp_buffer_pool_create(). Will
discuss further at LCU and decide.

Decisions:

- Defer persistent user meta data until post ODP v1.0. Use cases not
completely understood and implementation corner cases are problematic.
 Non-persistent user meta data is defined and required.

- Discussed Petri's ideas surrounding ODP_BUFFER_TYPE_LINK. Question of
application controlled memory not fully understood in terms of use cases
and corner cases. Defer application-supplied memory areas for use as ODP
buffer pools or buffers. Delete the
odp_buffer_pool_create_from_memory_region() and odp_buffer_alloc_user()
routines. ODP buffer management intended to be self-contained (at least in
v1.0).
