Hi Pashant,

We are planning to drop Netmap due to a lack of interest that is why it has
now started to lag linux-generic and is still at 0.2, if you would be
actively using it however we can re float the idea of maintaining it with
the steering committee, but without a user it will likely be dropped after
discussion during Connect in early February.

And now a plug for joining us!
If you you want to influence the steering committee you could talk
internally at Aricent and join as a member :)
