I have a question about the document "OpenDataPlane Introduction and Overview".


Page 8, there is written:


ODP applications can run in parallel with full Linux user processes that 
implement control and/or management plane functions as these typically do not 
have the critical performance and latency requirements of the
data plane and can more fully benefit from the full Linux API feature set.


What does it mean exactly ? A ODP application can use the Linux ARP table or 
the Link-State Database? of a OSPF process ? How do we do that with ODP ?
