Isra, FWIW, there are also some other blind-/VI-specific bits of GPS software out there, for both iPhone and android smart phones, and some of them use the open street map data, which might, especially be more feasible/useful in certain parts of the world, etc., but anyway.
And, will also say that still love loadstone, and used it here in South Africa, but, my last nokia/symbian phone - the N82, with it's built-in GPS unit - is on it's way out, what with battery etc., and have myself switched over to android phone usage, but anyway.
