there are many great forums out there that help and are full of information. check out linuxquestions.org. also, the ubuntu home page has a good manual too. the manual is easy to read and covers nearly all the basics. plus the system itself has it's own man pages. google is another great resource, it has it's own "google linux" search engine. without a specific question, it's hard to answer. your question is really general, so that is another tip: "be specific with your questions and include details such as hardware, memory, video card, etc." i hope this helps. goodluck and have fun.
