Some of you have asked about this, here it is: Ryan of Ubuntu Forums has setup a place for teams who want a forum but don't want to mess with the hosting. To request a forum, visit http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=181
The benefits are that the server performance is very good, server and website maintenance is handled by someone else, people who use your forum may already be registered there, people who aren't using your forum may find it on the ubuntu forums website and get plugged into your community. The disadvantage is that the interface appears to be in English. (correct me if I'm wrong) Also, unless you log in, there are a few ads on the website. Some LoCos like to host their own forum. If you want to host your own forum and not use Ubuntuforums, that's fine. -- Matthew Nuzum newz2000 on freenode -- loco-contacts mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/loco-contacts
