Hey Joey and everyone else :) I disagree with this idea. I think that the emphasis should be put on state level teams in the US. What real purpose would another level of governance of LoCo teams serve? I think the US Teams project that Christer and Aaron set up (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/USTeams) is the real answer to supporting LoCo teams in the US. Providing support to new or struggling teams, Pooling resources and Ideas, coordinating events are all things that can be done with the US Teams group without adding another layer of governance. I think that each region of the Globe would benefit from such a mentoring group. The next meeting of the US Teams project is already scheduled for Feb 24, 2007 at 17:00 UTC in #ubuntu-meeting Thanks, Steve Ubuntu Ohio -- loco-contacts mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/loco-contacts
