Thanks for the response. I had mailed [EMAIL PROTECTED] and requested the list be started. Is this not the correct place to request it? I got the address from the https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamHowto. it states the following.
Email [image: [MAILTO]] [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>to request the creation of a mailing list. United States teams should append
the [image: [WWW]] two-letter US Postal Code abbreviation<http://www.usps.com/ncsc/lookups/usps_abbreviations.html>for the relevant state ( e.g. ubuntu-us-ca).
