I just wanted to say that this is in no way an attack against Canonical or the community as such. I just wanted to point out that there is a real problem with the LoCo resources (Shipit, hosting, mailing lists, etc.) and it can be a bit frustrating and time consuming for us in the LoCo teams to deal with. Obviously, as part of the community we are also part of the problem. For instance we try to distribute locally pressed CDs [1] whenever we can to try to take some pressure off from the Shipit system. If the responsible for the LoCo resources need some help I'm sure the community can lend a hand. I've already offered as a volunteer on this same list a few weeks ago.
