Cool!! I've been a fan of launchpad scraping tools for a while. E.g. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugHelper/ They will get a lot easier and more robust when launchpad gets their new API deployed. Two of us on the colorado team have already started hacking this code. E.g. adding internationalization, checking for ubuntu membership, etc. So we'd love to see it under source control in bzr, etc. I'd suggest the name should reflect the fact that it can query any team, not just loco teams. E.g. "launchpad_team_stats"? And should it be part of that bughelper project? Or somewhere else? The launchpad folks may have ideas.
