Well this is news to me also as I see the wiki activity started 3 years ago.
I was confused thinking that you were referring to Texas.
Either way this is a large region and contains many teams already in place.
Not to say that you are not fully qualified or motivational but
converting people happens all the time by many of the area.
Maybe you could approach this a simpler way by stating what experience
you might have first as there are millions of PC users in the area.
