Thanks Laura for the update. I as a representative from ubuntu-my would like to thanks for the new revise item Conference pack for LoCo Teams. What i wanna emphasize here is the idea for LoCo Welcome Pack. I think this is a good decision making by the Canonical management. Why ? as mention "to present yourself in a professional manner"
We in Ubuntu-my has to take initiative by raising some fund and sponsorship for some event we held like Ubuntu Release Party and from that we (Ubuntu-my) manage to build PVC banner for our Malaysian LoCo Team. Picture can be view here : http://bit.ly/cqm8Qp We for see this because if we always involve in big OSS event in Malaysia such as , http://mygosscon.oscc.org.my , http://mscmalaysia.my/opensource and other OSS in University n etc2 ... we need to show to the public that UBUNTU is operating system that ready for student , university , SOHO , SME , Government and Enterprise level. Again, i would like to thanks n congrate to the Canonical + team that involve to make LoCo Teams looks professional in da future ... :) Regards, Khairul Aizat Kamarudzzaman http://launchpad.net/~fenris [email protected] +6012.659.5675 On Aug 24, 2010, at 11:00 PM, Laura Czajkowski wrote: > Aloha !!!! > > I am very pleased to announce the new Conference packs for LoCo Teams, > this came from a session at UDS-M in Brussels of this year but also was > something we've been looking at for a while.
