http://lifehacker.com/267361/how-to-find-latitude-and-longitude gives this line of javascript: javascript:void(prompt('',gApplication.getMap().getCenter())); but this only works when the venue is exactly centered. Somehow the map should be automatically centered, and the named/placed venue marked!

Status in LoCo Directory: New Bug description: I've put in the name of the venue, and the address. The map doesn't show the location, which is not helpful. I have to navigate there manually, and guess at the location to get the latlong filled in. This should be much easier when both the name and address of the venue are supplied.
