You should create a bug report at
http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/BrowseProject.jspa?id=10550
and attach your patch to it. Click the check box where it
sais that you donate the patch to the ASF. This will make it
easier to integrate it into the log4cxx codebase later.
I am currently collecting the various patches at
http://www.littletux.net/log4cxx. Currently I would
appreciate if patches are diff'd against the dist tar
ball found there, because it makes it easier to
integrate them in the daily tarball creation, especially
if files like build.xml are modified.
