Mihai,

I agree, doxygen documentation can take some getting used to.  It's
certainly easy to reach information overload.  For log4cxx, the "Class
Hierarchy" has been helpful for me (assuming you've already read the
"Short introduction to log4cxx").

BTW, I hope my brevity didn't sound curt.  It wasn't intended to be.
