build fails on cygwin

I downloaded the latest subversion trunk. 

The build on "CYGWIN_NT-5.1 1.5.24(0.156/4/2) 2007-01-31 10:57 i686 Cygwin"
fails with: 

logging-log4cxx/src/main/cpp/class.cpp:147: undefined reference to
`log4cxx::AsyncAppender::registerClass()' 

I remember emails back from Apr 2006 to this problem. 
Does anybody have any updates or fixes for that?
