No, I don't believe that there is. I think the goal is to keep log4cxx and log4net so closely aligned with log4j that there isn't really a need for a distinct book. However maybe Ceki would be up for adding a log4cxx appendix in any subsequent edition.
I am not really a Java guy, but imo the log4j book is written in a way that C++ programmers can understand, too.
Reading it helped me a lot getting into log4cxx - I highly recommend it (although you sound as if you have done so already...)
