Sorry about the slow response.  This error has been reported on log4cxx 
0.9.7, but I do not believe (but haven't confirmed) that it exists with 
the current CVS HEAD.  A new release is long overdue and at this point 
bug reports against 0.9.7 are not very useful since the CVS HEAD is 
radically changed.
