John, all, I have noticed that my log4cxx version is buggy and I would upgrade but I am testing a delivery of software that is delivered to my Co. and I cant change the baseline sent to me just yet. I want to prove or disprove this is a log4j bug and that the delivered set of software and utils don't work as provided to me before I go changing and making it work myself.
I'd still appreciate any other reply's to my email below as to if this is my config prob or indeed a stopping point with log4cxx ver 0.9.7.
