Using log4cxx in a VB6 application

Hi,

I'm very interested to use log4cxx in a Visual Basic 6 application. 
Almost all our applications are coded in C++ except one big beast...  I 
need to implement logging functionnalities in that application and I 
don't want to write a port of log4j in VB6.

So, I would like to know if anybody have experience using a ATL COM 
object or a DLL to interface with log4j (or log4net) and VB6? Any hints?
