This turned out to be much easier for me to find that I had expected. As I expected, this is happening from various methods in our code. I have not been able to recognize any pattern to them. Would it be helpful if I include some of the logger names? In case it could possibly be related to the format of the logger name in some way? I should also mention that, even though we are running on RHEL 3 now, we have also seen this problem on Red Hat 7.3.
