I visited the wikipedia entry for log4j a couple of weeks ago: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Log4j
In it, the "external links" section has links to Log4cpp, Log4cplus, and Log4cxx. All had "(outdated)" on them. I removed the "(outdated)" for Log4cxx, but wanted to make sure - Log4cxx looks active to me.
