After a long, quiet period, a group of folks are actively hacking on Log4cxx again with the blessing of Apache Logging ( http://incubator.apache.org/projects/log4cxx2.html).
If you have particular open bugs that you would like addressed or patches that you would like to see rolled into the project, please give a shout either on JIRA (preferred, http://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/issue-tracking.html) or here. Voting on and watching tickets of interest to you would be particularly helpful. As would pinging any tickets that you can recreate and would like to help see fixed. If you follow SVN trunk, please note that the repo location has changed since the project is back in incubation ( http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/log4cxx/). This may be helpful if you wish to confirm or deny the validity of some bug or patch you hold dear. With your help, we'd like to reinvigorate the community around and improve the stability of this excellent, widespread C++ logging framework. Cheers, Rhys
