Hi,
to make log4j1.1b supporting objects even over remote connections, I've
created an RmiLoggingServer and a RmiAppender, somewhat the same as the
socketserver. Do you guys want me to submit the code when it's finished? It
first needs to be QA'ed next week, because it's part of a larger system and
we're going to use it anyway, but if you guys want to include it in the
package I can change the package names to org.apache.bla.bla (that would fit
better, not?). It's almost the same as the socketserver (same options
basically) and support both xml- and property-configuration.
Thnx for any feedback. Any other (feature) ideas are nice also of course
because I'm busy with it anyway and I've got some time left...
