This is probably more of a log4j-user question than a dev one. At any
rate, I'm not sure what you mean by the development/system dichotomy. Do
you mean one log stream for development work and another for production?
Or do you mean one log stream for "application" level code and another for
"system" level (like OS or app server runtime) code.
For the former interpretation, you would probably use two separate hosts
all together. For the latter interpretation, you could use separate
hierarchies to keep the two systems independent (from a logging
prospective).

Good morning everybody !
I wants to create two logging stream one for development related and
another for system related.
Some time i wants to logging off both, or either one. eg: When I am
important to system related process then wants to log off development
related log. How i can attain it through log4j. Is it possible to do using
configuration file.
Can u give a suggestion for this.
