Hi Jim,
Chris Barlock of Tivoli, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IBM, contributed pages and pages
of comments to the JSR47 process. Chris is the author of IBM's logging toolkit for
Java. The least Sun could do is to give IBM and indirectly Chris credit.
However, referring to log4j as IBM's logging project is like referring to the Republic
of Ireland as a province of Great Britain. :-)
