I just loaded log4j v1.2 alpha 5 into VisualAge there are a number of issues with this distribution yet.
The createLoop() method of the StressCategory class has a call LogManager.getLoggerRepository().clear() yet the org.apache.log4j.spi.LoggerRepository interface does not have a clear() method defined.
