Kevin,
One possibility is to have a second sqlStatement specifically for exceptions (or throwables) and to format the throwable in the following manner: String[] s = event.getThrowableStrRep(); if(s != null) { StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer(); for(int i = 0; i < s.length; i++) { buf.append(s[i]); buf.append("\r\n"); } } // now write to database using the SQL statement // for throwables and buf variable. Just a thought... At 22:37 25.04.2002 -0700, Kevin Steppe wrote: >This is tougher for the JDBCAppender than others. For file output it is >possible >to simply write out a few more lines of text.
