I am getting back to plugins/receivers/watchdogs shortly. For those that have already or plan to review the current code, I would appreciate feedback. In particular, I am interested in changing the design in such a way that plugins can only be started/stopped using the PluginRegistry methods. Design patterns/suggestions on how to accomplish this (while maintaining the Plugin interface) appreciated.
