All, I'm working on that log4j configuration gui, and am using the java.util.Properties class for reading the standard properties style log4j config file. When the Properties class stores its data back into a file, it does so in a different order than the original file. Does this matter? I am under the impression that the order in the file is unimportant, but since I've only ever used the xml configuration files, I'm not 100% certain on this.
