http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17982 Logger class needs to override some Category classes Summary: Logger class needs to override some Category classes Product: Log4j Version: 1.2 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Other AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] It is my understanding that Category and Priority is to be deprecated for Logger and Level classes. Due to the fact that Logger inherits most of its functionality from the Category class, some of its methods like isEnabledFor requires a Priority instance as parameter. Any attempt to pass a Level do not compile. Must all Logger methods not use Level classes instead of Priority? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
