Scott Deboy and Paul Smith have been greatly enhancing Chainsaw in the
log4j-sandbox area.  No work has been done to LF5 recently.  It is just
based on the interest of the developers, not a specific plan to phase out
one over the other.   I'd have to give the new Chainsaw and edge as far as
new gui/features.

Ceki should probably comment on this as he has done much of this
re-implementation.  I'm not sure what state it is in.  But your feedback on
this or any other log4j area is always wanted and appreciated.
