OK thanks. A development team is developing a solution for one of our
customers that includes Log4j, as well as Xerces, Xalan and Castor, and I
am wondering about US and French regulations.

No log4j does not include any cryptographic function.

Are you worried about US export regulations or do you have a specific
crypto functionality in mind?
