Test org.apache.log4j.plugins.PluginTestCase failed

When running the log4j test cases I get:

    [junit] Testcase: test1 took 0.1 sec
    [junit] Testcase: test2 took 0.01 sec
    [junit] Testcase: testPropertyChangeListeners took 0 sec
    [junit] Testcase: testPluginListeners took 0.01 sec
    [junit]     FAILED
    [junit] PluginListener should not have been notified of start
    [junit] junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: PluginListener should 
not have been notified of start
    [junit]     at 
org.apache.log4j.plugins.PluginTestCase.testPluginListeners(PluginTestCase.java:386)

    [junit] Testcase: testPluginListeners

BUILD FAILED /log4j-1.3/tests/build.xml:368: Test 
org.apache.log4j.plugins.PluginTestCase failed

I suppose this is abnormal...
