I believe that I have done as much as I can do for issue #8 without some major changes to the build file etc. This build is at least as good as previous 1.2.X builds. I have run all of the unit tests under jdk 1.3 with Ant 1.6.4 and jUnit 3.8.1. Everything passes. I'd like to do more to run the tests under jdk 1.2 and/or jdk 1.1, but I don't see an easy way to do that at the moment.
If folks can take a look at this version and try it out, I would appreciate it. I am going to move that this version be considered for release.
