log4j 1.2.12rc1 build

I figured out my PuTTY issues and was able to successfully sync and build 
the 1_2branch.

The 1.2.12rc1 build is located at:
http://people.apache.org/~mwomack/log4j-1.2.12rc1/

for your consumption and review.
