The initial commit on this bug will commit a pom.xml that describes the 1.2.14 release (but is not sufficient to build it) and adds a "dist-maven" target to the ant build to produce from the 1.2.14 release tarball a jar archive that contains the pom.xml, log4j-1.2.14.jar and source and javadoc jars.
