Hi, after throughout search of the log4j mailing lists i still couldnt find an answer to this question: EXAMPLE OF XML config file with DbAppender and the damn DIALECT which it must be set up. This is something alot of user are asking but no one provide a plain example. Also notice that, im using MS JDBC 3.0 and although it supports: supportsGetGeneratedKeys(), log4j still throw exception that it needs dialect. After going through API docs I have no clue how to do that. Info is so scarce these days :(
Also, how to use custom Db insert sql statements, i do not want to use predefined schemas.
