http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=40601 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-11-12 12:47 ------- I mean how can I protect the active used log file angainst deletion. As example I write my log to a file log.xml. The java VM is active and the logger works and I can delete the file log.xml from a shell with rm log.xml. If I use XP is this not possible, because XP set a log to an open file. I can delete the logfile not until before the VM is stopped. Is there a way to get this behavior also with linux? In a practical way not me delete the log file, but there are other users which call rm * in the log directory and complain that logging does not work. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
