Summary: Logs from some panels missing in custom expression
                    LogPanel
           Product: Log4j
           Version: 1.2
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: chainsaw
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

1. Set up Chainsaw to load configuration and log files contained in the ZIP
attachment
2. Restart Chainsaw (all 4 log files should be loaded into separate panels)
3. Go to View --> Create custom expression LogPanel
4. Enter the expression 'xAngM-ezkc20mb-4h' and hit "OK"
5. A new log panel is created, which should show logs from all 4 original panels
6. In the "Refine focus on" field, enter PROP.application ~= 'server.log' (logs
should appear)
7. In the "Refine focus on" field, enter PROP.application ~= '2.log' (logs
should appear)
8. In the "Refine focus on" field, enter PROP.application ~= '1.log' (logs
should appear, but don't)
9. In the "Refine focus on" field, enter PROP.application ~= 'xenon.log' (logs
should appear, but don't)

I have tried multiple variations on this configuration with these files: all
combinations of 2, 3, and 4 receivers configured. In all cases, the logs from 2
panels appear and no more. The preference always seems to be for the
"server.log" and "2.log" files, with the "xenon.log" and "1.log" logs least
likely to appear.

I have also tried exporting these files in XML format and reloading into
Chainsaw, but the end result was the same. I was able to unify all the logs into
a single panel only by changing the "Tab identifier" configuration from
"PROP.hostname - PROP.application" to "PROP.hostname". However, this is a
workaround that won't help in all cases.

Strangely, I have also used Chainsaw with a different set of logs, and was able
to unify the logs of 3 different files via a custom expression logpanel without
any problems.
