--- Comment #22 from Gili <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2008-07-07 10:02:24 PST --- When running under Windows with Tomcat running as a service I routinely got hangs when I would invoke "net stop tomcat6" and the log4j message was the last error message printed to the logs. Furthermore, these problems only started once I upgraded my log4j version. Just to clarify, "net stop tomcat6" would fail regardless of how many times you'd try and "net start tomcat6" would complain Tomcat was already running. If this issue has indeed been resolved then maybe the severity could be reduced from ERROR to WARN but I definitely would not consider it a DEBUG.
