The java.util.regex requires a 1.4+ JVM. I could not locate JVM requirements
of the Jakarta-ORO project, but the code is old so this might very well support
even Java 1.1.
If this changes the JVM requirement of the LogFilePatternReceiver class I think
it should not go in a 1.2.X release.
