FYI: I'm hoping to be able to cut a release candidate for 1.2.16
tomorrow. I've put a tentative release date of October 21th into the
changes log. My intent is to use the intervening time to prepare some
of the companions, log4j-extras, at minimum for a simultaneous release.
I'm expecting to prepare the build on a Ubuntu 8.04 image on Amazon
Web Services with Sun's Java 6 and Maven 2.2.1. I'll update BUILD-
INFO.txt to give line-by-line instructions on setting up the instance
and building the release.
If there is a bug that you want squashed before 1.2.16, speak up now.
