I agree that things don't need to be finished before committing, but in this case I took code that I wrote for Logback and put it in my directory as a starting point. I was only planning on using it to cut and paste into something I haven't even decided what it is yet. I had moved it out of the directory before committing and didn't even realize that it had been added to subversion.
