The only problem with that is that the pdf is generated from the same files as 
the web pages. Unfortunately, the pdf generator doesn't seem to support 
sub-navigation and I believe it makes a chapter out of every item.  See 
pdf.xml.  

I would really like the downloadable pdf to be usable as an offline reference.
