I would like to test the bug Joern found with serialization, but that may not 
be critical to fix.  Other than email I generally don't work on ASF stuff much 
during $work hours, so I will need to find some time.  Also, the logging 
project hasn't converted the distribution site to svnpubsub as infra said 
needed to happen by the end of the year, so I may run into problems with 
completing the release.
