Ladislav Jech commented on LOG4J2-411:
--------------------------------------

Hi Gary, I see now the problems also, I will check ML also, wasn't involved too
much in the past with log4j at all although the AsyncAppenders in log4j2 are
really deadly fast :-)) good job at all.

I am focusing on the XSD only, I think that this idea is not fitting this
bug-tracking-system, but rather the netbeans(or any other ide), there is an old
plugin for log4j at:
http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/15502/log4j-module

Maybe the good way will be to update this module to support directly create
log4j2 config xml file within the IDE itself which will include the generated
XSD file reference.

> It might be good idea to include and XSD reference inside of the xml
> configuration file in a way as Maven does in pom.xml file, so the user can
> use IDE suggestions (like Netbeans can do) to configure the logging system.
