Rory, We have been actively testing Log4j with JDK 8 since about March 2013. The only problem we found so far was the removal of sun.reflect.Reflection#getCallerClass(int), which spurred months of discussions, disagreements, and proposed fixes. Ultimately, the change was reverted and has been postponed until JDK 9 to give the community time to come up with a public API to replace it.
If you have any other questions, let me know. Thanks, Nick On Jan 24, 2014, at 3:18 AM, Rory O'Donnell Oracle, Dublin Ireland wrote: > Hi, > > I am from the OpenJDK Quality Group at Oracle.
